What is the Pontiac Vibe's REAL gas mileage?

    depends if you get an automatic transmission or a manual. The lower is for the automatic transmission, the higher is for the manual. There is also two differnet engines 1.8 or 2.4 liters. Again the smaller engine gets the better mileage.

From customer feedback they tell me they get on average 34 on the highway and 27 around town. That's from 10 different customers the around town is low because most are a bit heavy footed around town but its a good car with good mileage. You have to remember that the government changed the fuel rating system for 2008 so there was a difference from the 2007 to the 2008 and then GM/Toyota redesigned the 2009 model so you have a new fuel rating there.
