How do they know it's the Swine flu?

My mother is a nurse, and she told me there is nothing any different from the flu- & the "swine flu" all the syntoms are the exact same the only difference is the h1n1flu has came to us from pigs;swine; however the reason the h1n1 virus has been brought about as a big deal is because of how wide spread it has become. jus like the regular flu people has been put in the hospital and in any case people also have dies from both but more or less smokers have it is provin the smokers increase the flu syntoms so no need to worry when having the flu or the h1n1 do the same as you would with any flu. drink plenty liquids, sleep alot, and try to eat as much a possible.

H1N1 is the name given to that particular strain of flu because it mutated from swine. Every flu virus is an individiual strain and can be identified as separate viruses.
