Can you see the northern lights in Geneva, Switzerland?

And if so, at what time of year?

Answer:
Realistically I have to say NO. It might happen once in a hundred years. You really need to head north. Northern Scandinavia or Iceland has a much better chance. Ian

No, Geneva is nowhere near the Northern region of the world you have to go to see the Northern Lights. Geneva isn't even in Northern Switzerland, and even if you were in a city such as Zurich which is in Northern Switzerland, you still wouldn't be able to see them. You have to go to a place like Alaska, or way up in a Scandinavian country, like Sweden.
