search "long term rentals Costa Brava". "I can easily find a job " Are you SURE? With unemployment at 20%, NO ONE can find a job "easily".

There's a good webpage that has lots of properties to rent and buy. The site is in Spanish only so if you don't speak the language, when you open the site click on Girona then in the box that says todas las categorias scroll down to where you see inmobiliaria, if you want an apartment click pisos or if you want a house click casa/chalet. It will give you a list of properies available. This is very much a residential site so you should have no problem finding something on here.... http://www.segundamano.es Hope i helped and good luck!

Do you have a job to go to? the unemployment in spain is very bad, the spanish people cant get a job so how do you manage to get one, the Costa Brava wouldn't be my choice of places to live in because it is only a seasonal place, everything closes from October to April. most of the spanish people in the costa brava only work there during the summer months and go back to their homes inland during the winter as the weather is not much better than the UK, it does snow in the costa brava, the type of apartment you are looking for to live in permanently will be very expensive because of the euro, when i was there recently it was 5eu for a pint of beer? http://www.longtermlettings.com/ I checked it out and the cheapest price for small apartment on a 12 lease (that's all they do) starts from £800 per month but remember you will still have service charges to add to that. also remember if you have a job to go to your apartment will need to be near your work as the bus service during the winter season will change, the prices go up to £1500 per month for the typical holiday block apartment.

I lived in Blanes for about a year and that was some years ago. I had to actually BE THERE and hit the bricks looking for a small apartment. You won't find what you are looking for on the Internet.. you have to GO THERE IN PERSON and then look around. When I bought my condo in Valencia about 6 years ago, I spent almost a MONTH living in that city before I found what I was looking for and that was a ONE MILLIION DOLLAR APARTMENT.. if I had THAT much trouble finding a place at that amount.. .I can only imagine how hard it would be to find a cheap apartment.

I can recommend a website for you to try out. They advertise apartments and villas etc for holiday rentals but I do know that some of the people advertise on their would love to take a long term rent. Best thing to do is see what you fancy and send off a few enquiries and you may strike lucky. http://www.apartmentandvillarentals.com The best of luck.
