  Europe is expensive, but it depends on how you wanna do it. If you are from the Us you will probably spend as much money as you would in California or New York. There are guest houses and campings that are less expensive. If you go to Barcelona or Madrid they cost you more than the villages. If you dine out of course it´s more expensive, but if you have a chance to cook it is not that bad at all. The food is great in Europe. If you want to visit museums or other architectural beauties you pay entrance fees. In Barcalona you can calculate about 6-12 euros entrance fees.
