Answer:
Segovia is very safe. But it is not near the sea. Serious shopping means a trip to Madrid.

Segovia is a safe city and relatively close to madrid for some sightseeing and shopping. and if shes staying for 4 weeks i suggest to travel within the country, since its a very limited amount of time. but seriously, how can you compare europe to the movie Taken! please dont be so judgemental on places you havent even been before. of course there are pick-pocketers, but its ridiculous that you think you can get kidnapped, this thought only comes across someone from america i guess. the movie taken is full of nonsense.

EXTREMELY safe! Especially with a host family. What things does she need to worry about or be cautious about? Returning to the US. Kidnapping for human trafficking!? LOLOL! Not in Spain! Not in France, either, as in the movie you mention. I think you need to look up the word "FICTION" in a dictionary. She won't have time to travel to other countries on a four-week study trip. She'll probably stay in Spain. She won't even have time to really experience Spain.

so she would buy a trainticket from segovia to Madrid Barajas the Aerport by train euro 12,70 local transport in Segovia is not included and then when she would go to London it would cost her on average some different carriers compared and divided by the amount of flights the average price for a return ticket would be euro 400 for answering uses no mailings from those carriers only the site for seeing the atlantic she would have to travel by train above two hours or the mediterrean sea she would have also to travel above two hours by train
