Which area in Spain do you think is best for a Spanish student to study in Spain?

    If you like the beach and sun try South Spain and the Costa del Sol or Costa Tropical. University of Malaga is in a very nice setting and while the University of Granada is inland it depends on what you want to study.

Barcelona is a very gay-friendly city, so it would be good to go there if that is what you are looking for. Also there are many things to do in Barcelona.

If there's any option to go to Sevilla go there, if not I'd definitely go with Barcelona out of those. :) You'll have a lot of fun, Spain is great :D

Doesn't UNC still have a program in Sevilla? Go there. If they don't. Do Granada.

Barcelona is the most cosmopolitan city in Europe and very gay-friendly, but note that we speak Catalan in Barcelona, and rest of Catalonia, which is a different language (both Catalan and Spanish are offiicial in Catalonia) and most classes at uni are not held in Spanish but in Catalan. So you should learn Catalan first (it's a bit similar to French) or choose the other cities (Granada, Salamanca, Cuenca or Caceres), which are monolingual Spanish
