If you take the Metro, it will cost about a Euro. If you take a cab, it will cost around 50€. It all depends on whether you can manage with your luggage or not, and trust yourself to find your hotel alone in a strange city. And that's from El Prat. It will be much more if you have taken one of those flights that goes to Reus or Girona, as those are roughly an hour from Barcelona. They aren't Barcelona airports...they belong to the cities mentioned above.
