Taxi cost from Alicante airport to Benidorm?

Does anyone know how what it costs for a taxi from Alicante airport to Benidorm?

    Around 60 euros. It works out cheaper to arrange transfers/shuttle before you leave the UK. I have used them - very reliable. Will collect you from your hotel for your return journey.

having arrived back from Benidorm 2 weeks ago, we used taxis' to and from Alicante airport and the price both ways was 58 euros. We have found it best to negotiate the fare when you get into the taxi and for them not to use the meter. You can also book your transfers online with a company called A2B Transfers and they use a minibus for around 14 euros per person, i have used them previously and they are very reliable.

There is no train station at El Altet ( Alicante) airport????? Taxi's are expensive, you'd be looking at between 60-75€

It's quite a distance from Alicante to Benidorm,and taxi drivers are extremely notorious for being A) insane B)rip-off merchants C)bad drivers & D)unreliable-get a coach or bus transfer!
