How do I get followers missing from my followers list on Tumblr to show up again?

I have 44 followers on Tumblr. Only 22 show up in my list on both the web and mobile app. I verified the followers not showing up on the list are still valid and following me. Any clues or suggestions to get the missing followers back in my list?
