wats a script? the teacher told the classroom, to write a script... but idont even know what that mean?

it's directions on what to do in a play or movie. what the setting is, inside outside in the park on a rainy day.. etc. Dialog what to say and how to say it. and the words should tell a story with a beginning ( inciting incident, something that gets the main characters going) a middle (the journey usually) a climax ( high point) and an ending(happily ever after).
