I just bought a spring sniper rifle from Airsplat.com: http://www.amazon.com/WELL-MB05-Airsoft-Sniper-Rifle/dp/B0030L2VIA It's the WELL MB-05, a really cool gun, shooting upwards of 500 FPS and even more if you do some easy, cheap upgrades. It's definitely unique. It's only $165 from Airsplat. It comes with a bi-pod and a nice scope. A lot of it is metal. It's similar to the WELL MB-04, but it has an adjustable butt on the stock. It's pretty cool looking. It's basically the same gun as the UTG MK96 and WELL 96 and a lot of other type 96 guns, except the stock is cooler looking. I know it's not exactly what you were looking for, but it might satisfy your needs. Check out some reviews on it at youtube.
