Which magazine is better Field and Stream or Outdoor Life?

Which Magazine should I subscribe to: Outdoor Life or Field & Stream?

  • I have to pick a magazine from a fundraiser I bought from a student. I would like to get an outdoor magazine, but I need to know which one to pick. What do you think?

    Personally I'd recommend both but if that is not possible then I would choose outdoor Life as I've been an avid reader of it for many years myself. But I'd only choose it on that basis alone. I have started reading Field of Stream because of my dads subcribtion but he also reads my North American Hunter as I am a Life Member. Or maybe you got a buddy and he gets one and you get the other and then you win both ways. Thats how my dad and i work it out. HOpe that helps

I disagree. I find F&S to be more camping, conservation, ecology oriented. I find OL to be more hard core hunting, fishing stuff. They do have camping and similar issues as well. My favorite hunting magazine is deer and deer hunting.
