A size 3 red Razor worm hook. Hook it the same way you would a worm. They work well carolina rigged.

I fish a lot of Lizards. Especially the 6 1/2 inch zoom. Black with blue glitter tail. I use a 4 O hook Mr. Twister keeper hook.. Just my preference. But most use 3 or 4 in size. When I go to the 8 inch lizards or larger,, I switch to the 5 O hooks. All the hooks mentioned above are very good hooks though. The twister keeper hook just tears soft plastics up more than the other hooks will on hook sets. But,, hey.. catching the fish is the name of the game. I have lots of lizards.

Yea size 2 or 3 like everyone said. I prefer a rounded hook rather than a normal one. Its better for texas rigging which is the best way to fish a lizard. Itll allow you to cast in pretty heavy cover and not have much trouble for the most part. Im also a firm believer in red hooks. They give the bait that little extra look, first thing a bass thinks when seeing red is easy food becuase they think blood. Also add a bullet weight to the line. When fishing it cast out into cover and bring your rod fro a 9 o clock position to an 11 o clock position, never reel in the bait, only the slack after bringing your rod up. Fish pretty slow also and keep a good eye on your line, when you see the smallest twitch reel up your slack and set the hook.
