Where do i go to find a job for crab fishing?

up north is probaly your best bet.

Obviously you've seen Deadliest Catch: Crab fishing in Alaska on the Discovery Channel and you want to crew on a Crab Boat?? I have a friend who was a native Alaskan most of his life. (He even did a couple tours on a fishing boat!) You don't just walk up to the dock and say,"Hey! I saw that show and I think I can do this job. Gimme a shot!" Have you noticed that even in the show the deck-hands they hire know/knew a friend, relative, Etc and thats how THEY managed to get on the boat. According to my Alaskan friend, many perspective deck-hands work in the crab processing plant for years before anyone will even look twice at them as a deckhand on a boat. Deckhands make GREAT money in a limited amount of time. Have you crewed on a regular boat before? Are you in peak physical condition? If you answered NO to either one of these Q you should maybe look else-where for a job.
