How is an IUD removed?

How can you decide your ovulation cycle after you have an iud removed?

  • Answer:

It probably isn't your period, it was most likely blood from irritating your cervix. For me it took about a month for my ovulation to get back on track after my IUD removal. If you want to know what day you're ovulating you can buy an ovulation prediction kit. Otherwise it may be easiest to just wait a few weeks and start tracking your cycle when you get a period.

it'll be difficult to track since your cycle will be all screwy now. But try www.femilia.com. It helps (to the best of it's ability) track your period and ovulation date.

You can take a cup and fill it half way with water. Set it outside for 1 hour. If the water is at the same level as when you set it outside there may be an issue. If not it will be the same as your most recent cycle
