I got a fishing violation in Washington (King County) for crab fishing on a Monday. It was my first time ever?

If it's not too far from where you are staying then it is worth the time to challenge it. Even if you are blatantly guilty, which you are, most judges will reduce the charges if you make the effort to plead your case in front of them. Just remember, ignorance of the law is no excuse. I live in WA, but have never heard of that law. But I know they are very different and confusing in the Puget Sound area. Most likely it is just a fine. Unless you received an actual poaching ticket, you'd know because you'd be in jail, it's nothing more than a fine. It won't affect your fishing future as long as you don't make a habit of violating the same statutes.

not to sound to cruel,but you should be deported.Im sorry,but my answer was just a sarcastic joke.I think its crazy you got a fine because you had a net in the water on a Tuesday instead of a Wednesday?Thats just stupid laws .Just the government out to make a buck.Hope no hard feelings ,and I agree with others,fight like hell
