How do you make multicolored homemade crayons?

How can I make my own crayon molds so I can make my own crayons with old broken ones?

  Im not too sure but thinking about it.. I would say to make your own crayons out of broken ones.. you first have to melt them...so once they are really melted then you can get a like a cookie cutter shape or any other baking shape thing that has the form that you want. And pour it into it -I would say put some waxed paper on a baking sheet and place the cookie cutters on top, then pour the mixture into it and let it dry... it's wax so Im assuming it dries out. Also you can get your child the big thick crayons... I believe the bran is Kiddy Craft..not sure.. I actually found them at a dollar store, they're bigger than the regular crayola ones, and they're still non-toxic. It's late now... but I believe we have some of those in my kids' creative table downstairs.. I will check and let you know. :)) Good Luck!
