How to promote a wrestling show?

Doesn't it seem like WWE is trying to promote a tamed adult wrestling show to kids?

    I don't think it will lead to WWE's downfall by any means. I do agree that we have seen a dramatic shift with the whole WWE Universe era. It is starting to focus on the kids. The fact is a WWE lost a lot of fans after the Attitude Era/Monday Night Wars was over. WWE has no choice but to bring in a younger crowd. Its always a cycle with WWE, there would of been no Attitude era if WWE did not have stuff to appeal to us when we were kids.. Vince has always said that the industry is always in a cycle, I believe that there will be another Attitude like era in the future...

i agree. they are trying to please both, but the way theyre doing it is just not working. if parents have a problem with wrestling and their kids becoming to "violent" THEN DONT FRIGGING LET THEM WATCH IT!! SIMPLE AND EASY!!

the wwe is doing this because they want to get more kids to watch the wwe cuz when we grow up we might not watch wrestling anymore and thats why there trying to get more kids to watch.

Absoulutly i agree its pretty much pointless because wwe has adult and teen fans as well all those things the wwe was back in the attitude ara days was what got us attratcted to wrestling and by him putting a pg rating of what wwe use to be is pretty much pointless thats probably why tna gets alot of viewers now because it is what the wwe use to be.

I agree with you 100% wrestling at a PG level just can't work the shows that they have been putting on have been dull. Everything has become predictable. There is a lack of compelling storylines due to this as well hopefully the WWE will realize that having all there programming rated PG is bad for business.
