My daughter likes having what she calls a dolly. Where we make a face on the plate... Cucumber for eyes, tomatoe for the nose, cheese strings for the lips, pickled onions for teeth, and crisps for hair. Or basically what we have in the fridge. So something like that is fun. She's also into wraps at the moment too. She just has cheese and ham in them but it's different from a sandwich.

Eating a toddler for lunch is forbidden! <keep them for snacks later> Mashed-banana sandwich (with a little sprinkled sugar) Beans on toast spaghetti on toast spaghetti hoops on toast Soup + creamed rice (best to use different bowls for this one) Condensed milk sandwich (no need for sugar) Cheese on toast Toasted toast Soup and a small square of shortbread (not for dipping!)

here are some lunch ideas for you (all of these I give my 23 month old son sometimes): -grilled cheese -macaroni and cheese -peanut butter and jelly sandwich -any kind of frozen pierogies (and there are lots of varieties of them) -sometimes the Lunchables that are the sandwich kind...like ham & american or turkey & american -any kind of sub sandwich (sometimes I will actually go out and buy a sub sandwich to share with him at the grocery store or another place....his favorite sub is turkey & american cheese with ranch dressing) -pizza -yogurt (might need to give something else with this) -chicken nuggets -cheeseburger I know it can be hard coming up with lunch ideas sometimes, especially if you have a picky eater but hopefully these help you out!

pitta bread with various fillings - e.g. left over spagetthi bolognese, hummous and some veg that your son likes (e.g. peppers, cucumber, tomatoes), butter and ham (this is my hang over cure also lol). or anything that you can think of to put in a pitta bread! try soup and a sandwich. it's a great way to get toddlers to eat more vegetables. my sons favourite soups are chicken soup (onion, garlic, celery, potato, carrots and left over chicken) and cauliflower cheese soup. we also eat a lot of eggs for lunch - omelettes, scrambled, poached, boiled... really easy and tasty.

peanut butter and jam.
