What are these bumps on my hands?

My one year old daughter has small little bumps on her hands a feet. What are they?

  • My one year old daughter has recently developed, small little bumps on her hands and legs. They don't appear to be itchy or red, just clusters of small bumps. What should I do?

  • Answer:

Call her doctor. My son had a sudden rash last month and the nurse said if he had bumps on his feet and hands to bring him in immediately. She didn't say what it was but she made it very clear that if the bumps developed to bring him straight in to see the doctor.

It could be Hand, Foot and Mouth disease. It is usually accompanied by a fever. My babies had not long ago and my husband caught it form them too (it's contagious). Don't worry, it's not a big deal, and goes away in a few days. We never even took her to the doctor, we just looked it up on line and saw that there's no treatment for it. I would call your doctor anyway, in the morning just to be sure.

Blessed

Take her to the doctor.
