What EXACTLY does HEARTBURN feel like?

I am 4 weeks pregnant and I woke up this morning with a tight pressure like feeling in my chest (breastbone area) and when I took a drink of water, it went away!!! What was that? ...show more

For me it feels like a burning sensation, starting in my throat and working down into my chest. Also it feels kind of like acid or something. The sure fire way for me to tell if heartburn is about to start is burping after I eat. Not just regular burping, but the kind where you can taste what you just ate. I know that sounds gross, but it happens.

My heartburn feels like a HUGE fireball trying to find its way out of my chest, to my throat. then I usually burp it out, once I sit up. That is the best way I can describe the heartburn I have been getting this past months.
