Why was my existing Geocities page deleted?

    I don't know exactly why Yahoo decided to delete Geocities. Maybe it was a cost thing or the fact that more people are using social networking sites instead of making personal websites these days. As for getting your links back, there's a site called the Wayback Machine (http://www.archive.org/index.php) that could help. It's like going back in time and lets users go back and view sites that have been closed. Just put in the address of your website and you can see it again, though I don't know if any pictures you may have had on the site will appear.
