  The levels are nothing more than a name for the number of ratings you have made for your station. They are just for fun, and are a way to encourage you to continue adding ratings. You don't get any extra benefits for going to a higher level, other than in theory your station should be getting better at giving you music you like consistently. A mistake many people make is to enter ratings that may not be that well thought out, just to advance to a higher level. I was guilty of that myself at one time. Now I advise that people should ignore what level they are at and just continue to add quality ratings whenever possible.
