on top left side you will find the way to switch back yahoo classic, on top left side you will find links like. YAHOO! MAIL then written hi your name-available-signout-mail classic click on mail classic and bingo u got ur old mail back.

Legend Lady* told me this in a question I asked which is about the same as yours: this link will switch you back there , then you need to shut off & restart your computer so it saves it as your settings* http://www.yahoo.com/classic
