Where can I buy wood fence online?

Which is cheaper to buy and do yourself..Wood fence or chainlink fence?

    if you can install your self, chainlink is chaeper and more durable but may not look as nice. there are a ton of web sites and books with lots of pictures and well written explanations on this that you should look at, then ask more specific questions.

How much privacy do you want? Chainlink will leave you pretty exposed - quickest and cheapest is interwoven panels (shop around for best deal). You need treated posts with caps to cover exposed end grain - and maybe clips to make changing the panels in later years easier - although I've always nailed them You can get metalsikes to put your posts in but I've never had much faith in them. concrete in the posts though and if necessary stand them in a bucket of preservative for a few days - although this shouldn't be necessary if they are properly impregnated.

I'm in the middle of shopping around for the same and what I got out of it. Chain link is cheaper and easier. Wood is pretty expensive and very much time consuming. I want to go with a chain linked fence but my wife wants it to be 6' high. I personally don't think it will like nice as chain linked. Good luck!
