Home made candle holders out of household items?

you may have thought of this...wine glasses, if they are all different...even better. Fill with salt to hold the candle. If they are different heights...even better. Old fishbowl? Same thing. use the old gravel to hold candles. Throw in some shells and you have romance.

You can use a clear glass plate and put a candle in the middle then decorate around it with decorative stones, fish tank stones, or anything really. Or else you could use a beer glass in the same way, filling the bottom third with sand or pretty rocks and then placing the candle on top of that. Finish it off by tying a ribbon around it toward the bottom in a bow. Another alternative to candles is to find a large vase or any see through glass thing and put in christmas tree lights and garland or lights and anything that will act as a filler and reflect the lights through the glass! Try it, it looks really cool!
