Im a freshman too, luckily i made it on varsity, but ill give you tips. Come physically fit, if the coach shakes your hand look him in the eye. If he tell you you mad a mistake be like, what can i do to fix that mistake. Push yourself to the limits and dont backdown, remember why your there, it pays to be on varisty not jv
