Can anyone give me detailed travel advice for a trip to Florence, Italy?

    I really enjoyed the Accademia and the Uffizi. Michaelangelo's David is in the Accademia, and that alone was worth the trip. Get a reservation for either one if you plan to visit. I also really liked Santa Croce, a church in Florence that has many famous people buried in it. Galileo, Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Rossini, Marconi and Fermi are all buried here, and there is a monument to Dante. I also liked Ponte Vecchio, a pretty bridge. Efcollegebreak.com does a trip that goes all over Italy including Florence. me and my friends did this trip last year and it was a blast it included everything from airfare, hotel, tours, and when it was done instead of going home we actually went back to Florence on our own and we stayed with my family out there and the trip include my plane trip back i just changed the date.
