What is the best way to learn drawing anime?

I really want to learn the manga/anime artwork styles of drawing. What's the best way to learn them?

    same here..& I found the site that elopezcomic adviced helpfull for guides to follow. for material i,ve once read about some inks (marun ink i guess), there r some inks special for comics, black, white & colors. but i use pencil & colored pencils, water color,(i've recently got deep into manga too).. another thing i've read about is the drawing tablet (it's used to draw digitally, insted using a mouse, use this(like a pen)). for paper, i like smooth paper when using pencils...so the lines would be smoother, & curves easier... & practice is the key point...& imagination, creativity helps.. i think that seeing other artists' work would help (inspiration, ideas, & gets u motivated to draw like them)...

I'm a big fan of the Japanese animation/mangas as -well the way i see it is u should go on the web and & see if there r any websites that may have japanese animation in the US. when u practice drawing star out with the easy characters ( with the most simple lines and shape ) then slowly work ur way up 2 the more difficult characters if u want 2 know more of my ideas contact me at [email protected]

if you already have basic skills in drawing, I think one of the best ways is to transcribe or trace the manga style you like trace it excatly to the details. I suggest you concentrate on drawing the eyes first, coz in manga the eyes is on of the number one aspects.
