Zafir is perfectly right. The southern area is influenced by mediterannean genetics (tanned skin, dark hairs). North=celtic, east = germanic. By the way, that is also applying to the language.

I guess it could be true since there are more blonde people in te counties north from France (Netherlands, Belgium) then in the countries south from France (Spain, Portugal) So I guess there are more natural blonds in north/west France then in south France.
