Answer:
Tough luck, houses in Paris are extremely rare and extremely expensive. You need to go in the subburbs to find houses, and very far subburbs to find houses that cheap. Like 50 kms from Paris. 1-2/ Cheapest areas to live in Paris are the poorest and the ones with the heaviest immigrant populations. Because they are cheap they are also the ones where the criminals have their quarters. 18th, 19th, 20th arrondissements have areas to avoid. The close subburbs have cities to avoid at all price. The others are too expensive for the amount you can put. 3/ yes you can, you need to contact the airline and pay for the service. You also need to check the rules for bringing animals in France (passports, vaccinations, tattoo...) http://ambafrance-us.org/spip.php?article783 4/ Do you speak French? What kind of degree do you have? It is extremely difficult right now for a non European to find a job and get a visa (in that order), and there is a huge unemployment right now in France. If you answer no and none then don't bother. 5/ Yes. You pay the exchange rate tax and the bank transfer tax. 6/ Yes, you can buy appartments and houses in France. We have plenty of owners. And yes, if you live in Paris an appartment is what you will get unless you can afford a house. With 100,000 Euros you can afford a 9 square metres room in Paris, nothing else. Just to give you an idea, a parking space sells at 35,000 to 45,000 Euros in Paris. http://www.pap.fr/annonce/vente-appartements-paris-75-g439-entre-100000-et-100000-euros For 100,000 euros I found a 40 square metres appartment 45 mn train away from Paris. If you want closer, let's say only 20 kms from Paris, you need to cut the appartment size by half.

LOL. You won't be buying an apartment in a nice area of Paris for a mere 100 K. Sorry. And anyway, you can't just up and move to an EU country. You're living in the US, your lack of knowledge with regard to Paris suggests that you are in fact American, and therefore not an EU national. Unless you are sufficiently wealthy not to be terribly worried about the cost of apartments in Paris, you're not going to be moving there anytime soon. People RENT in cities like Paris unless they are well and truly loaded. Then they buy the entire building.

You would need more like maybe double or triple that amount to start. At least. or an aprtment. Houses are even more expensive. (Look at sites like: houses to buy - sell in Paris on your web search.) You can fly animals to France: check with your airline (you'd have to pay for extra seats of course). Job: of course if you are thinking in terms of immigration, then you'll have to contact the French embassy nearest you (addresses on the web). You don't "just move" to another country just like that. And you'd best learn French quickly if you don't know it already. Conveting one currency to another always costs money. never change at airport (fees always high). Do it at the bank

Housing in Paris is extremely expensive. You can take animals to France, but it will probably run you several thousand dollars. That many animals would be shipped as cargo. You will need a work visa for France in order to work there. You cannot just move to a foreign country and work without a visa otherwise you will be illegal and subject to deportation. Do you speak French? Yes, it will cost you to exchange money just as it cost to exchange currency in the US.
