What to do with 2 days in Paris?

If I had 2 days in Paris, what are the major things I should see/do?

  We have a budget airline called easyjet over in the uk, and you can fly from stansted, luton or gatwick london airports. I'm fromt he north of england and myself and my boyfriend flew from liverpool to paris cdg for £23 each, each way. Or you could get the eurostar. Travelling in and around paris the best way is the metro - the map is confusing to start with but once you understand, it's really easy! It's cheap to get a 'carnet' of tickets. We travelled from the airport first on the RER (trains) then changed onto the metro when towards the centre of paris - it's quite difficult with suitcases and don't do it in rush hour like we did!!!! Or I hope your husband is strong and can carry two suitcases haha! We stayed in the neva hotel right near the arc de triomphe. It's a 3* hotel, the staff are lovely, location's brilliant but not the best of room's - everything you need for a short stay but nothing more. But then again you don't stay in your room! It isn't dirty, I would still definitely recommend it - look at the reviews on tripadvisor. The last answerer has given you lots of info on places to see so I won't go into that! All I will say though is, if you are there on a sunday go to Sacre Coeur. There was a service on inside the bascilica when we went and it was beautiful. But then again you should go any day of the week simply for the breathtaking views! Hope you have a fantastic time, we did :-)
