What species of animals are endangered because of animal testing?

It wouldn't be allowed to use appendix one endangered animals for animal testing without having almost impossible to get special permits. In the past, animals have been driven to extinction for the fashion trade. In the UK, the red squirrel is almost gone because of the introduced grey squirrel, the native crayfish is disappearing because of the introduced American crayfish and water voles are now rare because of mink released from fur farms into the wild by so called animal liberationists. An unusual and overlooked creature which was saved from extinction, mainly because of work done at London zoo, is the Partula snail. Giant African land snails were introduced to the island where they lived as a food scource and they ate the native snails.
