  I do not mean to be mean, but you are doing some really d*** stuff. You are a college student? you have been scammed, and the worst part about it is that after they closed your account, you STILL are trying to send them money, and even now you sound CONFUSED. YOU owe that money to your bank, if you would have gotten that full $2500 you would be owing them that too! Please learn about scams and what is going on around you. Where is your friends or boyfriend? No one was there to tell you that that was a scam? Who would send a check for you to take out your pay and send them the leftover? That is the oldest trick in the book. You bank will let you take out ALL that money before they even see the check, if you are a customer who has been with them for awhile. That is what these scammers are hoping when they send the check, you should feel like a fool. If you are shrugging your shoulders and saying it can happen to anybody, then you will always be a f***. It does not happen to anybody, it happens to people with no common sense. Do not get mad, just get smarter. You are in college and need to keep close eye on your money, what will happen to your identity when you are making big money and have A1 credit? Please learn what is going on around you. Please stay safe!! It is not enough to have Book Smarts, you need Street smarts as well. Also, the Feds can come looking for you. Be careful
