How do i use my paypal balance to buy things online?

my dad sent me $100 to my paypal account to go shopping online with but when i checkout using paypal it ask for a debit card/ credit.

If you click on one of those it should let you go through - it takes straight from your paypal before it uses a card but you need to say your paying with a card if you get what I mean (after your signed into your account of course). I have done this before and it has worked.
