No their not....do not buy a 3D TV right now because it is still too early even if 3D movies has been around for Decades......why is it too early? the Manufacturers such as the Japanese based Sony and the Korean Based LG,Samsung...how many Tv providers such as Direct Tv and Dish network and cable tv has? Cable has none yet...directv has 3 channels that's in 3D only couple of blu ray movies are in 3D..but the bottom line is you gotta pay at least min of $199 for each Additional 3d glasses...its like having a HDTV without anyone broadcasting in 3D....when they pulled of that game few yrs ago where the Tube TVs that had HDTV people got mad who was broadcasting in hd in 2002? no one who is broadcasting in 3D right now? ESPN? get my point....yea most ps3 games are 3d capable thats it other then that its useless now
