How do I improve the sound output from my Sony Bravia LCD TV?

I have a 32" Sony Bravia Lcd Tv. The picture quality is superb, but the sound isn't. It's better than other Lcd's, but nothing in comparison to my old Sony Kirara ...show more

I would recommend maybe a 2.1 computer speaker system that has rca input capability. Some of the Logitech units have this ability this will allow you to plug the tv audio output into the RCA port of the speaker system and all of your other components will automatically play through the speakers. This also enables you to have a headphone jack if you ever have the need to wear headphones. Research 2.1 speaker units. The TV you are talking about cannot support speakers on its own simply these outputs are there to go to receivers that will have there own speaker set-up or of course the other option I have explained.

I have 2 newer Bravia LCD models and if the TV's speakers are not enough for you, the easiest way to greatly improve your sound is to add a pair of powered speakers. Here are a couple of examples at different price points (see below in the source area). Happy listening!
