If there any way to connect a video player to a DVD recorded to copy a video tape on to a disc?

Simple scart lead will do, But it may be your DVDR will read the copywrite from a pre recorded tape. and will refuse to record it. you could also just use the RF cable, Red White Yellow S-Link component in /out any of these will do the trick as long as its not copywrite protected
