What's the difference in DVD recordable discs?

Dvd discs, can somebody explain about them please?

  u can put your movie on dvd-r or dvdrw but not thedvd+r cause thats for data only i prefer to record on the dvd-r its a better looking movie the dvd rw is to copy over and over on and u lose so much of the picture each time u burn on it hope this helps
