Hello! All you need is something with a HD Tuner built in, be it Recorder or TV!! But also remember you do need to connect through a HDMI cable to get the benfit of HD! So it dont matter about connections, just the tuner thats built in! You can have all the HDMIs in the world and not get HD Channels Spot on about the HD Freeview tuner, that will get you able you to get HD channels. If your getting a new TV, just get one with a HD tuner, but if thats out of your price range just get a HD Freeview recorder! Whoever you speak to in stores will help you! hope that helps!!
