Do they drug test on the first interview at Home Depot?

  When I got hired in November 2004, when they offered me the job they said it was conditional on me passing a drug test within 48 hours at a specific drug testing location down the street. They will also drug test you (if you want to keep working there) if you get into an accident that is serious in nature or one where you are suspected of being under the influence. This only happened one time in the 3 years that I worked there, some guy ran a forklift into a door and destroyed it. You should wait awhile until the stuff is out of your system before you apply. If you are going to be doing any work that requires lifting, driving the forklift, or spotting a fellow employee who is using one, then I'd advise you to stay clean for safety purposes.
