How to connect a printer to more then one computer?

I have a printer and I can't get it to connect with my computer.It is HP Officejet 4315v All-in-One &windowsxp?

At times HP you will get a glitch when using the printer software and you will need to uninstall and then reinstall I recommend this procedure for that problem Add/remove and remove all components for the printer Now do a complete clean up with the HP level 4 driver removal utility tool When done, reinstall the software

You need the installation disc that comes with the printer so the computer knows that another device is hooked up. Then it will recognize it.
