Not sure about the tint. The Blue Screen of Death happens when something takes places and Windows (Operating System) doesn't know what to do. It could be anything from a bad driver to a broken hard drive. You need to know the code on it.

if anything is too close to screen like speakers, it will cause the magnets to not display right. so move the speakers or anything else with magnets in it away. also, try looking at both plugs on monitor and computer to see if its not loose.
