How do I hook my tv up as my computer monitor?

Does anyone know how to hook up your computer monitor to your tv?

You can't go directly from your monitor to the TV, but you can usually go from your video card to the TV. You need to see if your video card has either a RCA plug, which is a round plug with another round plug in the middle, this is the same kind of plugs that VCRs use to connect to the TV. Or you it might have a S-Video connector which round with several little pins in it. Of course your TV has to have either the RCA or S-Video to match. If your video card doesn't have this, then you would have to but kind of adapter card that basically has the same kind of connections.

The easiest way to do it is with an S-video cable, it is a circular port with 8 connectors. Most newer tvs have an S-video in. You can find one at just about any store. However, the screen won't always exactly fit your TV screen. It should be fairly close though.
