How do you connect your ps3 to your lcd computer monitor to play games?

I would like to play ps3 games in full hd but I don't have enough money to cough up for a new hdtv. I have a VH242H Asus LCD monitor(24 inches). Do you need an hdmi to dvi cable? ...show more

You really don't need a expensive hd tv to play ps3 games, sure its not hd but that's okay. I have a old 32 inch panasonic fat/analogue tv that is still working. If I was you I would save that money for when the ps4 comes.
