i live in ireland and my cousin goes to UCC and he told me loads of americans are here so you will fit in. you will have to get used to our sport (hurling and gaelic football)and our culture (drink and craic) craic means fun from what i no class is optional but if you want to pass i suggest you go. hope i help the irish love the yanks go to any hotel in dublin or kerry there's a US flag outside it
