Schools in Kenya run by Westerners for poor Kenyans.?
-
How does the education in these schools compare with Kenyan state schools? How does it compare with private schools in Kenya? What is the standard of education in Kenya like?
-
Answer:
IMHO Kenya has a very poor standard of education in its schools. Almost any Western country requires more knowledge and certainly higher grades to graduate. Therefore, I believe that an education from a Western taught Kenyan school would be better than a public or private Kenyan taught school. Besides, often the goal of a Kenyan school is to "teach to the test" (the Kenyan test that pretty much dictates how likely it is to get into a good high school or good college/university)
