How do you record video games off the TV?

How do you record stuff on the tv like video games but without a camcorder? camcorders have bad quality?

  Use a VCR. Just hook the cables from output (OUT) on the back of the TV to input (IN) on the back of the VCR. Put in a blank VHS tape and record. There are various other ways of connecting VCR to record from game consoles if your TV is one of those cheap ones with only one connection on the back. You may need to connect your game console to the input on your VCR and the VCR output to the TV input. If you connect everything properly you should still be able to record game play. And you can do the same with a DVD recorder instead of a VCR.
