How much does an Olive Garden waitress make in tips daily?

• I am starting a job at Olive Garden as a server. They are busy everytime I drive by. Anyone work at an Olive Garden as a waitress? How much do you make in tips only on an average day?

  ohh no clear answer for that sweetie. every day is different and it will dpend on how good of a server u are. lunches are typically slower, and the soup and salad is big. small checks, small tips. however if it rains during lunch, u will prolly get busy. lunches you can make anything between $10 and $110. dinners tend to be steady enough. even when its dead i make $50, and when its busy you will make $100 easy. My best tip i can give you is STAY IN SERVING. i started serving, trained on bar, then went into the kitchen. serving is the most money and the least amount of work. also, its smart if you offer to close on the floor, no matter lunch or dinner. when they cut all the other servers and its just u and like 1 or 2 other ppl, you will get more than the three tables they usually cut you off at. oh and p.s., be nice to your cooks, you have no idea how stressfull their jobs are... you have three tables to worry about, they have those and everyone elses and get literally half the money you do. :)
